Step behind the scenes and enjoy a truly immersive day as an animal keeper at Wigfield Farm. Designed exclusively for adults, this hands-on experience offers a unique opportunity to work closely with our animals while learning what it really takes to care for them.

Guided by our knowledgeable keepers, you’ll help with daily routines such as preparing feeds, cleaning and maintaining enclosures and meeting a variety of friendly animals up close. Along the way, you’ll gain insight into animal behaviour, welfare and the individual personalities that make each resident so special.

This relaxed, small-group experience is perfect for animal lovers looking for something a little different—whether you’re seeking a meaningful day out, a thoughtful gift or a chance to reconnect with nature. There’s plenty of time to ask questions, take photos and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of Wigfield Farm.

No previous experience is needed—just a love of animals and a willingness to get involved.
